Mechanical and manufacturing engineering is undergoing a paradigm shift driven by Industry 4.0, where intelligent machines, robotics, and cyber-physical systems redefine traditional production processes. Conventional manufacturing systems suffer from unplanned downtime, inefficient resource utilization, and limited adaptability. This research presents a comprehensive intelligent framework for mechanical and manufacturing engineering that integrates artificial intelligence, IoT-enabled sensing, robotics, and advanced control mechanisms. The proposed system enables predictive maintenance, autonomous process optimization, real-time quality inspection, and energy-efficient manufacturing. Mathematical modeling, AI-based fault diagnosis, and simulation-driven evaluation demonstrate significant improvements in productivity, reliability, and sustainability. This study establishes a unified engineering approach for next-generation smart manufacturing environments.
